Mission

The BioMedMath programme is part of the Department of Mathematics in the Faculty of Science at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. Its mission is the development and dissemination of mathematical and computational methods and their application to complex systems in biology and medicine. Our programme aligns itself with the strategic interests of the Republic of Croatia and the European Union. It is based on scientific research and university studies, and it promotes collaboration with professional organizations and industry professionals. It is open to students and researchers from all over the world, and is rooted in the basic principles of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
